This is my 2009 photo journal gallery. I would like to commit to a new photo everyday, but with my schedule I know I could never maintain it. I will add new photo's as often as I can and it can be anything that catches my eye. So, this is 2009 THROUGH MY EYES!

Thank to all you great folks on the Dailies. Your consistant work and comments are an ispiration to me.

K DUNLAP > 10.09.09 = From sunny corn fields yesterday to foggy corn fields today. I came across this foggy corn field the other day and pulled over in the rainy mist to shoot it. I played around with this one in PS to get a pen and ink type of look. (check out in XL) It’s fun to try out new things every once in a while. The scene reminded me of a few oil paintings I purchased last weekend at an art show from a young artist with a wise soul, Luke Stretar. His work just captured me with its depth. Check out his work at www.lukestretar.artpickle.com

“Into every life a little rain must fall, some days must be dark and dreary.” Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
K DUNLAP > 10.08.09 = Nothin’ but corn! In my travels this week I took a back road for a few miles to d-stress and enjoy the amazing blue skies. I turned down this little country road and found nothing but corn. Corn as far as the eye could see and further than my lens could reach. I stood up on my running board to get this shot. These are the colors here in the Midwest this time of year, golden fields and aqua blue skies! I’m glad I got this shot the other day, it’s raining here and plans to do so all weekend. Have a great weekend!

“Before the reward there must be labor. You plant before you harvest. You sow in tears before you reap joy.” Ralph Ransome
K DUNLAP > 10.07.09 = Sunrise.

This sky was breathtaking as stood below it clicking away. It changed color with every frame. The oranges got brighter and the pinks turned to purple. It was quite something to watch; almost magical. It certainly made my day, hope you enjoy it as well. This will be one that I remember for a long time. This is a SOOC shot, the only modification that I made was to smudge out a light post.

“Sometimes I get to places just when God’s ready to have someone click the shutter.” Ansel Adams
K DUNLAP > 10.04.09 = Just one last post from Indiana. The sky was just such an amazing blue and I couldn't get enough of it. No big commentary today, I feel like I have been on a soap box lately. Hope everyone has a great week. I'm out of town again this week so I may or may not be able to post.

"In the long run, we shape our lives and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility." Eleanor Roosevelt
K DUNLAP > 10.03.09 = As I sit here this morning with my daily post and trying to come up with a quote of the day, I am reminded of just one. A quote from my brother-in-laws late mother Mildred Satterfield; “We pay strangers; We do for Family.”
This year has been a challenging one for so many people with lay-offs and closings. I think it’s more important than ever “to do for family”. Regardless of who that family is, whether it’s your church family, work family or your immediate family; do for family.

K DUNLAP > 10.02.09 = Indiana

"If you wait until the wind and weather are just right, you will never plant anything and never harvest anything." The Bible
K DUNLAP > 10.01.09 = I came across this beautiful field while traveling through Indiana the other day. It was the end of a long day and this field of gold made me stop and capture it. With skys of blue and fields of gold, I just had to stop and count my blessings. The song "Fields of Gold" by Eva Cassidy kept playing through my head.

"I never made promises lightly and there have been some that I have broken, but I swear in the days still left we'll walk in fields of gold, we'll walk in fields of gold."

K DUNLAP > 09.29.09 = The air has changed here; fall has arrived. The cooler temperatures are just one sign that autumn has arrived. Yesterday, the sky was one of the most beautiful blue's I have ever seen. I pulled over and shot several frames of just sky and clouds. I'm on the road traveling this week for work and on my way to my last appointment yesterday, I saw this little chapel in the distance. Well, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to shoot it. The white church with the blue sky was so refreshing to me. It's Hump day....

"May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through." Irish Blessing
K DUNLAP > 09.27.09 = What a great golf tournamnet. We actually had someone hit a hole in one! We also hit a few eagles, birdies, a squirrel, the side of a fence.....
It's Monday and I hope everyone has a great start to the week.

"The most important shot in golf is the next one." Ben Hogan
