This is my 2009 photo journal gallery. I would like to commit to a new photo everyday, but with my schedule I know I could never maintain it. I will add new photo's as often as I can and it can be anything that catches my eye. So, this is 2009 THROUGH MY EYES!

Thank to all you great folks on the Dailies. Your consistant work and comments are an ispiration to me.

K DUNLAP > 10.21.09 = A peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a small bag of chips and a Little Debbie snack cake; what a perfect lunch when you’re a kid. My wonderful mother use to make our lunch every day when we were in school. She would write our names on the outside of the bag and line them up in order on the kitchen counter. The days when the bag was heavy, we knew we got an apple instead of a Little Debbie. We had lunch boxes when we were younger and my favorite was a Snoopy lunch box. Whether you carried your lunch in a box or a bag, it was homemade with love. I remember she would sometimes draw a happy face and say, “I love you” on the napkin. Even after all these years I remember and appreciate all you did. Thanks Mom, I love you! :D

K DUNLAP > 10.20.09 = Ahhhhhhhh, Coffee! I've been drinking coffee since I was little. Our Grandmother, Mimi use to fix us coffee when we went to visit her at the country house. She put so much cream and sugar in it that it tasted like sweet milk. It didn't matter, we thought we were so cool drinking coffee like the adults. There was coffee on the stove all day too. Now, I'm not one of those fancy coffee drinkers, no *$'s for this girl, I prefer Dunkin, or I PERK it myself. Yes, that's right, PERK. No drip coffee in this house. If you're passionate about your coffee, pick up a perkulator. You will enjoy the difference.
So what's your brew? Are you a fancy coffee drinker or a hard core french press type??

"Decaffeinated coffee is the devil's blend." Unknown (but it sounds like something I've said in the past.)
K DUNLAP > 10.19.09 = Just a little slice of Americana today, I've been traveling so much lately it's nice to shoot something right up the road. This is the gazebo in front of the famous Golden Lamb in Lebanon, Ohio. The Golden Lamb Inn, is the oldest Inn in Ohio, since 1804. Over 12 Presidents have stayed there and countless famous historical figures. A famous English writer and poet arrived one day; Charles Dickens.

K DUNLAP > 10.17.09 = Tasseled Grasses. I know this isn't my best, however I really liked the color and the way the sunlight hit the tassels on the top of the grass. Something different. It seems Autumn brings so many changes.

"All things must change to something new, to something strange." Henry Wadworth Longfellow
K DUNLAP > 10.16.09 = Autumn is in it's glory.

"Listen! The wind is rising and the air is wild with leaves. We have had our summer evenings, now our October eves!" Humbert Wolfe
K DUNLAP > 10.15.09 = I came across this group of sheep the other day. They had all been laying up next to the fence and when I approached them they all got up and began a stare down with me. I loved how some of the wool is stuck to the fence. I wondered what they were thinking while looking at me. They soon discovered that I wasn't all that interesting and went about their little lamb things. This guy kept his eye on me however. I loved how the sunlight just hit his outline.

Have a great weekend everyone!

"Life consists of what man is thinking all day" Benjamin Franklin
K DUNLAP > 10.14.09 = Dancing shadows. I loved how the shadows of the leaves danced on the side of this bright red barn. Bright blue skies, red barns, green grass and white fences.....perfect comp for photo don't you think? Sorry I've missed posting for a few days but I've been out of town and running like a mad woman. Is it Friday yet?

"Keep your face toward the sunshine and shadows will fall behind you." Walt Whitman
K DUNLAP > 10.10.09 = I have a very early start this morning. Hope you all enjoy your Monday.

"Todays mighty oak is yesterdays little nut that wouldn't give up."
K DUNLAP > 10.10.09 = GO BUCKS!! Fall Saturdays were made for football. No matter your team, unless it's Michigan, break out your colors and cheer on your team. You're never too old or too young to enjoy a few hours yelling for your team and having a few beers with friends. Hope all your teams won yesterday, unless your a Michigan fan.

"Any time you give a man something he doesn't earn you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get and that includes respect." Woody Hayes
